Soundtracks — darkshadows

The Dark Shadows franchise has released several soundtracks in various formats over the years, containing all of the various scores and themes used in the original television series and the two MGM movies, House of Dark Shadows and Night of Dark Shadows. All of the music from Dark Shadows was composed by Robert Cobert, with the exception of the early version of Josette's music box theme, which was composed by Robert Farnon. This version of Josette's music box theme does not appear on the soundrack albums. Additionally, a few of the instrumental songs that could be heard playing on the Blue Whale jukebox during the show's first year or so were not composed by Robert Cobert. These included instrumental covers of Beatles songs, as well as instrumental tunes by the likes of Ted Heath & His Music, Les & Larry Elgart, the T-Bones, and others. These instrumental tunes were also not included on any of the Dark Shadows soundtrack albums, as they were not composed by Robert Cobert. Louis Edmonds, the actor who portrayed the role of Roger Collins on Dark Shadows released his own music CD entitled Nobody Cares About Langley.
